Wind Wave Current Setter by Hay Ha as well as BWind Setter by Becca Moullez, thereafter WWC and BWS, will be the official weather conditions setters available to validate race and cruise sailing.
Custom settings for the proper MSRSC or OA will be adjusted as accurately as possible according to official sources of weather forecast shown below. Taking "Puertos del Estado" principally engaged "WindGURU" as complementary where appropriate.
The following wind range will be accepted for navigation according to the class as stated at M.S.R.S.C. SI:
9.1. For dinghy classes will not start signal to a race with less than 5 knots wind. For classes of keel and Match Race is at the discretion of the Race Committee.
9.2. No starting signal will be a race of the dinghy classes if wind records are above 25 knots. For other classes and Match Race is at the discretion of the Race Committee.
9.3. Protest regarding wind strength and suitability of wind direction or wind conditions are disallowed.
10. Changes: Notices and changes to these Sailing Instructions will be posted on the M.S.R.S.C. web site at least one hour before the scheduled warning signal of the race in which they take effect.
11. Cancellations: The Race Committee will cancel races according to its best judgement, and usually if there are "thunderstorms" in the area, the wind lulls less than 3 knots or gusts reach over 30 knots.
The outcome will be announced in M.S.R.S.C. SI at least one hour before each event, failing the last setting will take effect.
