Chicago Match Cup 2013 - Highlights Show



The cityscape of Lake Michigan plays host to the third edition of the Chicago Match Cup, Stage 4 of the Alpari World Match Racing Tour, ISAF's Match Racing World Championship.
Excitement has been building into the season so far as Tour Card Holder Bjorn Hansen and his eWork Sailing Team took a hat-trick victory at Stage 3 - Stena Match Cup Sweden. The swedes now trail Ian Williams (GBR) GAC Pindar by 3 places on the Tour leader board.
Will Bjorn Hansen and his eWork Sailing Team continue their winning form and exert their dominance over the leader board? Can local hero Taylor Canfield (ISV) USone win his home town event to secure him a place in the top three?
The event also sees Wild Card entry and former America's Cup helmsman Gavin Brady making a return to top flight match racing with the rest of Tour Card Holders. Will his team become the game changer of the series?

Planes & FX Part V - Nakajima Ki-27 "Nate" Type97 Fighter.



This one shows the Nakajima Ki-27 "Nate". With some Ken "Burns fx" and Kodakchrome. And it is a tribute to the Japanese fighter ace Hiromichi Shinohara. 

Type97 Fighter
Introduced in 1937, 3368 planes were built.
Until World War II Ki-27 was the main fighter
of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force.

Hiromichi Shinohara was the IJAAF's
highest-scoring fighter ace.
From 27 May 1939 - 27 August 1939 (when he was shot down)
Shinohara claimed 58 aerial victories, all with the Ki-27.
On 27 June 1939, over Tamsak-Bulak
Hiromichi Shinohara shot down 11 planes,
Shinohara earned thenickname "Richtofen of the Orient".

Akagi - Red Castle




The Akagi (Red Castle) was a Japanese Aircraft Carrier during the Second World War.
In SL there is a true to scale rebuild with stunning details.
The carrier anchores near the battleship Yamato.
